Provided is a two-photon absorbing dendrimer, which inhibits fluorescence quenching caused by aggregation of a pigment by preventing intermolecular interactions, emits high fluorescence, and shows a high site isolation effect. The two-photon absorbing dendrimer is obtained by coupling a core compound having a hydroxyl terminal group and a dendritic benzyl halide represented by the following formula 1.
