<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting angular velocity capable of suppressing the deterioration of detection sensitivity of angular velocity and reducing an offset voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises a vibration control circuit 6 producing a drive signal for vibrating a vibrator, a gyroscope sensor 101 for vibrating the vibrator on the basis of the drive signal, a sensor IF circuit 3 for outputting the detected signal indicating detected Coriolis force by detecting the Coriolis force caused by applying the angular velocity in the vibrator, a second synchronized detection circuit 5 producing the angular velocity signal F indicating the angular velocity by synchronizing-detecting the detection signal based on the specific reference signal, a switched-capacitor circuit for storing initial value information based on the angular velocity signal F while the angular velocity is not applied in the vibrator, and a phase controller 10 for producing the reference signal by varying the phase of the drive signal so as to lower the level of the angular velocity signal F accordingly to the initial value information and outputting to the second synchronizing-detection circuit 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
