<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device and a steering system of by-wire type executing, by using a steering operation member, such controls as other than the steering control based on the operation of the steering operation member as originally designed. <P>SOLUTION: The steering control device includes an operating lever 31 to slide to the left and right for controlling the steering angle and slide fore and aft for controlling lighting-up of a left and a right direction indicator lamp. The steered road wheels are turned to the right when the operating lever 31 is slid to the right, and when slid to the left, they are turned to the left. Further, the right direction indicator lamp lights up when the operating lever 31 is slid to the end in the forward direction, and when slid to the end in the backward direction, the left direction indicator lamp will light up. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
