PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid for an imaging device which is most suited to downsizing and wherein a foreign matter adhered to the lid is prevented from being reflected to a photographing picture, and to provide an imaging device using the same. SOLUTION: The lid 100 for an imaging device, which is fitted to an imaging device chip 50, is provided with a lid body 10 having a light transmissive part and a protruded part 20 which is projected from the lid body 10, so that the lid body 10 may be away from the imaging device chip 50 and which is adhered to the imaging element chip 50. Furthermore, the imaging device 200 is provided with the lid 100 for the imaging device and the imaging chip 50 to which the protruded part 20 of the lid 100 is adhered.
