PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain miniaturization and thinning of a cellular phone without providing a motion space to be needed when using a torsion spring. SOLUTION: A slidable portable communication device comprises a first housing; a second housing; a guide member having channels formed therein; a slide member to be fixed to the second housing and slidable along the guide member; a shaft member to be fixed to the guide member and for regulating slide of the slide member; and a slide module including an elastic member to be provided to the shaft member for making elastic force which enables the slide member to be slid along the shaft member act to the slide member, and for linking the second housing to be relatively movable in parallel relating to the first housing.
