PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of easily acquiring a cusp with a highest saturation by each hue in a prescribed color space. SOLUTION: A color gamut outer shell particularizing section 50 generates a plurality of polygons on a color gamut outer shell in an RGB color space of a second device to particularize the color gamut outer shell and to acquire a sequence of apices with the highest saturation by each hue in the RGB color space as a cusp sequence. A map section 52 maps a plurality of polygons (an apex group of polygons including the cusp sequence) in the RGB color space onto a CIELAB color space. An interpolation 54 generates a one-dimensional lookup table 6 from the cusp sequence and interpolates each cusp arranged in the one-dimensional lookup table 6.
