PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for developing a static image which can respond to a high-speed machine having an oil-less fixing mechanism, which has excellent resistivity against invisible offset and which prevents image contamination even when the total number of processed images is increased in long-term use. SOLUTION: The toner for developing a static image comprising at least a binder resin, a colorant and a crystalline substance is characterized in that the toner particle has a domain-matrix structure; and when the domain portion is approximated by an ellipse, the distribution of the angle of the major axis of the ellipse with an X axis optionally determined on an electron microscopic photograph has two or more peaks.
