PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition display device capable of providing satisfactory memory properties. SOLUTION: In the electrodeposition display device wherein a chromophoric material is colored or decolored by applying electricity between a transparent electrode and a counter electrode to perform display, a composition for display contains at least a compound of a second metal and a compound of a first metal which can be deposited at an application voltage at which the second metal is not substantially deposited, the first metal is deposited at a first application voltage at which the second metal is not substantially deposited and the second metal is deposited at a second application voltage higher than the first application voltage.
