PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain damage on a discharging member to be cleaned. SOLUTION: The discharging roll 62 of a discharging roll member 60 has crown shape whose center part is thicker than both ends. The cleaning roll 72 of a cleaning roll member 70 has reversed crown shape that the center part is thinner than both ends. The discharging roll 62 abutting on a cylindrical photoreceptor drum 11 is linearly deformed on the photoreceptor drum 11 side and its center part projects on an opposite side. When making the cleaning roll 72 abut on the electrifying roll 62 in such a state, the cleaning roll 72 bites at the discharging roll 62. The bite amount of the cleaning roll 72 is nearly constant in a longitudinal direction. Then, the bite amount is an arbitrary value within the range of 0.3 to 1.2 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
