PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fuel costs by increasing heat generation amount by improving combustion performance of the solid fuel. SOLUTION: In this supply mechanism for supplying the solid fuel SF to burner flame F generated by a burner 22, a supply pipe 20 for discharging/supplying the solid fuel SF is mounted in such manner that its tip portion 20a is separated from an outer edge of the burner flame F by a required distance, and the solid fuel SF can be supplied at an angle of 1-30°to an injection axis of the burner flame F along the injection.
