PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and inexpensively form a rotation stopping structure for stopping an outer ring from rotating in the peripheral direction with respect to a housing in a split-type rolling bearing with the outer ring made of a thin plate material split in two in the peripheral direction. SOLUTION: The bearing device is structured so that a rotation stopping part A formed by press working is formed on the outer ring 2, and the rotation stopping part A engages an outer ring attaching face S of the bearing housing 6.
