PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively light-weight siphon type drain device easily carried only by humans, for surely draining water dammed by an obstacle to the outside the obstacle without the need of electric power. SOLUTION: A supply port 11 and an opening/closing member 13 are provided on a top part of a siphon pipe 12. The supply port 11 can supply water to at least the downstream side of the top part of the siphon pipe 12, and the opening/closing member 13 can open/close the supply port 11. A drain outlet 14 of the tip of the downstream side of the siphon pipe 12 has a water cut-off member 15, which can open/close the drain outlet 14 and can stop the water supplied from the supply port 11.
