PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building member effectively using the proof stress of reinforcing steel products by approximately simultaneously plasticizing the reinforcing steel products such as reinforcing bars constituting the building member when bending moment due to earthquakes etc. acts on the building member such as a pile, a column, and a beam of a building. SOLUTION: By arranging reinforcing bars of larger strength according to the distances from a neutral axis of a concrete pile, which is reinforced by reinforcing bars, reinforcing steel products, in such a way that stress ratios of reinforcing bars may be equal at the position of the lower surface of a foundation, which is a junction position with the foundation, the reinforcing bars are plasticized approximately at the same period by bending moment acting at the time of earthquakes.
