PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a semiconductor integrated circuit for liquid crystal display driving (liquid crystal control driver IC) whose driving conditions etc., corresponding to specifications of a liquid crystal display device in use can easily be set. SOLUTION: In the semiconductor integrated circuit (200) for driving liquid crystal display which is a semiconductor integrated circuit driving the liquid crystal display device (300) for display, a nonvolatile memory circuit (EPROM) in which data can electrically be written or a nonvolatile memory circuit (EEPROM) in which data can electrically be written and erased is incorporated, and setting information is stored in the memory circuit (250). In addition, the memory circuit is composed of an ordinary element which can be formed in the same stage as a semiconductor manufacturing process of forming elements constituting other circuits.
