PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a reflection mirror, which gives the reflection mirror suitable for various light source devices for fibers manufactured by using the same die, and further with excellent mass-productivity, wherein the manufacturing method reduces influence of heat on an incident end face of a fiber without significantly decreasing quantity of light outgoing from the fiber, and gives the reflection mirror with uniform reflection characteristics to alleviate fluctuation of the quantity of light outgoing from the fiber caused by slight variation of an arc of the light source, in the light source device for the fiber. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing process of the reflection mirror, which comprises: granulating glass material powder; filling a reflection mirror molding die with the glass granules; molding the material for the reflection mirror with a dry pressing; and heating and sintering the material for the reflection mirror, roughness of an inner surface of the reflection mirror is changed by controlling pressure for the dry pressing, and the light source composed of the reflection mirror and a light emitting tube combined with each other is mounted on the light source device for the fiber.
