PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device a clothes-drying bar, especially suitable for use in a clothes-drying implement in which a receiver for a clothes-drying bar is turned or moved up and down. SOLUTION: A fitting 7 is inserted in a clothes-drying bar 5, and a locking means is fixed to the clothes-drying bar 5 by the fitting 7. In the state where the locking means 6 is fixed to the clothes drying bar 5, a closed space part 13 is formed by the locking means 6 and the fitting 7. The locking means 6 is fixed to the clothes-drying bar 5 so that a part of the receiver 1 for a clothes-drying bar is inserted in the space part 13 and closed, whereby the rotation and longitudinal movement of the clothes-drying bar 5 is limited to a range where the locking means 6 abuts on an arm rod 3 of the receiver 1.
