PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of diversifying game performances by utilizing data recorded in an optional recording medium. SOLUTION: A Pachislot machine comprises: a performance table in which two or more kinds of performance data (BGM data) for reporting a bonus game are stored; a recording medium reader 100 for reading the size of content data recorded in a CD-ROM inserted by a player; and a sub control circuit 72 as a sound output control means for comparing a value indcating the read size of the content data with a plurality of values indicating the sizes of two or more pieces of the content data set in an image control work RAM 83 beforehand, and in the case that both are different, changing one of the two or more kinds of the BGM data with the one set at present, setting it and outputting it from speakers 21L and 21R on the basis of the performance table.
