PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding machine variable in number of sheets dealing with thin paper, which can title-collect and bind a form of a plurality of sheets including thin paper in variable number of sheets. SOLUTION: This bookbinding machine variable in number of sheets is equipped with a title-collecting means, which reads codes printed on thin sheet-cut paper by a code reader so as to output a title-collecting completion signal, a spiral falling means, which pilingly accumulates the thin title-collected paper and, at the same time, the thin paper recordingly accumulated by the input title-collecting completion signal are vertically fallen down on a main conveying line, a truing-up means for truing-up the thin paper accumulated on the main conveying line and a wire-stitching means for wire-stitching the thin accumulated and trued-up paper.
