PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preform molding machine which, in molding preforms, prevents the preforms from being molded in an overlaid state. SOLUTION: The preform molding machine 100 comprises: in the upper stream of the carrier plate 30, the vacuum hoses 41a, 41b on the vacuum ports 33a, 33b; the flow meters 42a, 42b that detect the flow of the vacuum hoses 41a, 41b; the change valves 43a, 43b that change over the vacuum lines 44a, 44b or the air lines 47a, 47b; the suction pumps 45a, 45b that evacuate the inside of the carrier plate 30; and the vacuum valves 46a, 46b that release the vacuum lines 44a, 44b from the vacuum. In a case the preform PF is moved from the core mold 10 while being sucked, when one or both of the flow meters 42a, 42b detect the flow of the vacuum hoses 41a, 41b, the transfer mechanism 12 of the core mold 10 is interlocked.
