PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for displaying an excellent cleaning performance by preventing contamination of a device inside and a recording medium due to oil leaking from a cleaning member when a strip of cleaning member is pressure-contacted on a fixing roller to be cleaned. SOLUTION: The fixing device 20 fixed to melt a non-fixing developer on the recording medium includes the cleaning member 23 for previously impregnating the oil in the strip of cleaning member 23 for cleaning the surface of a heating roller 21 by being provided so as to be contacted on the heating roller 21, a feeding roller 25 for feeding the cleaning member 23, a winding roller 26 for winding the cleaning member 23 after cleaning the heating roller 21, a pressure contact roller 24 provided so as to push the cleaning member 23 to the heating roller 21 contacting the cleaning member 23, and an oil absorbing layer 27 for absorbing the oil leaking from the cleaning member 23 by being provided on the outer peripheral face of the pressure contact roller 24.
