The device compares the frequency of loadings of the respective part with an associated threshold value, whereby a loadability limit is defined as a frequency limit for exceeding a load limit associated with the part that the part can withstand and an indication is given to change the part when the loadability limit is reached. It uses CAN data for the vehicle online to form data reproducing events where the load limit is exceeded.
