<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain electronic equipment whose display unit is reduced in size while large-sized speakers are mounted. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment 1 comprises a primary body 2 and the display unit 3 supported by the primary body 2. The display unit 3 has a housing 11, speakers 31 and 34, and speaker boxes 32 and 35. The housing 11 has a front surface 14 where a display screen 21a is exposed, and a peripheral surface 18 and a back surface 16. The speakers 31 and 34 are fitted in the housing 11 while being turned in the same direction of the exposure direction of the display screen 21a, and also projected from the front surface 14 of the housing 11. The speaker boxes 32 and 35 are provided to the housing 11 and contains the speakers 31 and 34.
