<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot monitoring system capable of inexpensively collecting data from monitoring means mounted on each vehicle which enters a parking lot and reporting the owner of the vehicle in a remote place. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle monitoring unit 20 is mounted on the vehicle 10 which enters the parking lot 1. The on-vehicle monitoring unit 20 issues an alarm signal by radio wave when an abnormality occurs in the vehicle 10. A portable unit 21 receives the alarm signal and converts it into alarm display in a form to be perceived by a person. The portable unit 21 is stored in the storage cell 31 of a cabinet 30 which is arranged in the communicable area of the on-vehicle monitoring unit 20. The storage cell 31 includes a sound sensor 32, a light sensor 33, and a vibration sensor 34, etc., which detect the alarm display of the stored portable unit 21. A controller 40 converts the detection contents of the sensors into alarm with a communication content for a public communication network so as to transmit the contents to a prescribed communication terminal through the public communication network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
