PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator ensuring safety with little malfunction while attaining satisfactory door opening operation. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises an operation detecting means 26, a door opening means 28 for putting a door in opening operation, and a door opening/closing detecting means 31 for detecting the open/closed state of another door different from the above door. The operation of the door opening means 28 is controlled based on another door opening/closing information which is input information from the door opening/closing detecting means 31 in addition to a signal from the operation detecting means 26 to attain the prevention of a malfunction by a user and the safety protection of the user in actual use.
