PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrolytic apparatus lengthening the service life of seals and facilitating maintenance by reducing the wear of sealing devices for preventing pyrolyzed gas and heated air from leaking to the atmosphere. SOLUTION: The pyrolytic apparatus 1 comprises a kiln 3 into which a treated object is supplied; a jacket 5 surrounding the outer periphery of the kiln and allowing a heat medium for heating the kiln to be supplied inside; and the sealing devices 10, 10A provided between the kiln 3 and jacket 5 and between the kiln 3 and device fixing parts 2, 8. Each sealing device is composed of a rotating ring 11 fixed to the kiln, and a fixed ring 15 fixed to the jacket 5 to come in contact with the rotating ring. The rotating ring has a cylindrical part extending in the rotation axis direction of the kiln, and the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 11b is formed as an inclined outer peripheral surface 11c. The fixed ring is fixed to the jacket through a bellows 12 expansible along the rotation axis direction of the kiln, and brought into contact with the inclined outer peripheral surface 11c.
