PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product displaying removal of makeup or efficacy of cleansing during removal of makeup or cleansing and making it possible that users of makeup product knows whether removal of makeup is sufficient or not. SOLUTION: The present application relates to a rinse-off cosmetic composition in the form of an emulsion containing an oily phase and an aqueous phase, characterized in that it contains hydrophilic interference particles selected from uncolored pearlescent pigments coated with one or more coats of one or more metal oxides, these pearlescent pigments having a maximum length of less than or equal to 130μm, and the thickness of metal oxides being greater than 80 nm, the amount of inner phase being greater than 50% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition. The composition according to the invention changes color during application to the skin and thus makes it possible to assess the efficacy of the removal of makeup or of the care of the skin.
