PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a cushioning body with an enough strength, for example, in relation to the cushioning body placed between an article to be packed and the inner face of a container in a paper-made container, and preventing the article to be packed from being damaged, and for example, in relation to the cushioning body using a foldable sheet such as a corrugated fiber board and a cardboard. SOLUTION: A pillar-shaped part 10 with a base wall 12 and side walls 14a and 14b is formed by bending a corrugated fiberboard so as to make the side face shape into an L shape. Contacting parts 16a and 16b are respectively integrally provided on both ends of the pillar-shaped part 10.
