PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stapler with an electric pencil sharpener which integrally composes the function of the electric stapler and the electric pencil sharpener, and obtains simplicity of use. SOLUTION: The electric pencil sharpener 3 is housed nearer the front of a lower part housing 10, the electric stapler 2 is housed in the upper part housing 11 composing a bottom surface by making the top surface of the lower part housing 10 as a common surface 13, and a power transformer 21 supplying a DC power to the electric stapler 2 is disposed nearer the rear of the lower part housing 10. The common surface 13 is provided with a clinching plate 25 which is used as a paper mounting base for inserting the paper bundle into the electric stapler 2, and clinches the both legs of the stapler penetrating the paper bundle by a hammer 24. Since the electric stapler 2 is disposed on the upper stage, and the electric sharpener 3 is on the lower stage, chips generated by the sharpener do not have an effect on the stapler, the weight balance near the lower stage ensures stability, and the occupied area on the desk is reduced.
