PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To trap particles having smaller particle diameters while suppressing an increase in circulation resistance of a fluid, or the like, and to ensure a sufficient strength. SOLUTION: The notch wire 4 is laminated and disposed in the filtering device. In the wire, first notches 4d extending in the width direction of a base 4a are provided in a longitudinal direction of the upper face 4b of the base 4a with predetermined intervals. Second notches 4e extending between the first notches 4d are provided at the roughly center positions of the first notches 4d. The second notch 4e is a projected line of a roughly semicircular shape, or the like in the cross-sectional shape.
