PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graver case having excellent safety, which is easy for a school child to put gravers in and out. SOLUTION: The graver case is provided with: a case main body 2 having an open top; a tray 3 housed in the case main body 2 in a reatractable manner; a lid 40 pivotally fitted to the tray 3 in a rotatable manner and opened and closed with protruding and retracting of the tray 3; an operation part 25 arranged in the case main body 2 to be movable vertically; a rotation cam 50 which is interposed rotatably between the operation part 25 and the tray 3 and which has a first protrusion 51 engaging with an engaging groove 28 provided at the operation part 25 and a second protrusion 52 engaging with an engaging groove 33 provided at the tray 3. By moving the operation part 25 vertically, the first protrusion 51 is slid along the engaging groove 28 at the operation part 25 to rotate the rotating cam 50, and the second protrusion 52 is slid along the engaging groove 33 at the tray 3 to move the tray 3 vertically to make the tray 3 retractable from the upper part of the case main body 2.
