PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use and safe hair removing device capable of helping anybody agilely and correctly remove a targeted hair. SOLUTION: The hair removing device removes a hair by driving a rotary shaft provided with tweezers on the tip by a motor 31 and winding the hair nipped by the tweezers. A movable member 16 supported on the shaft 20 and having one end constituting an opening/closing side member 17 and the other end constituting an operational arm 18 is disposed on the tip of a main body 11. The tweezers 15 are opened by pushing the movable member 16 to nip the hair. An operation knob 26 provided on the main body 11 can activate the motor 31 and a hair root destruction means. After the removal of the hair, the motor 31 is slowly rotated to stop the operation arm 18 in alignment with the knob 26. A projection 37 is radially provided on the shaft 20.
