PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-hand operation toilet paper holder capable of allowing the user to tear off a toilet paper with one hand, being easily set, and securing a sufficient leader required for gripping in the next use, and a one-hand operation tool to be attached to a common toilet paper for the similar use. SOLUTION: The toilet paper holder is composed of a toilet paper holder Ha which rotatably holds a holder cover 2 and the one-hand operation tool Hb mounted under the holder cover 2. The one-hand operation tool Hb is composed of a pulling-out frame 6 mounted on the base of the holder cover 2 in such a way as to swing vertically for passing the leading edge 20 of a toilet paper P therethrough and a reversing cutter 11 pivoted on the front end of the pulling-out frame 6. The leading edge 20 of paper is passed through the pulling-out frame 6 from below to above and suspended from a cutting edge 19 at the tip end of the reversing cutter 11, which projects forward from the outer peripheral surface of the toilet paper P at its cutting edge 19.
