PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine using game balls and capable of preventing the complication of control at power recovery, in the slot machine using the game balls and having a game control means and a payout control means, separately. SOLUTION: Even in a state where the number of bets necessary for starting a game or more are set by the incorporating operation of an incorporating device 100, a game control means 41 requires the payout of pachinko balls by the number of unused balls by the operation of a settlement switch 10, if it is before starting the game, and a payout control part 61 allows a payout device to pay them out, based on the requirement. At power failure, the game control part 41 alone retains the memory of the number of the unused balls; and when the number of unused game balls retained in the game control part 41 remains at power recovery, the game control part requires again the payout of the pachinko balls by the number of the unused balls, and the payout control part 61 pays out the number of used balls at power failure based on the requirement.
