PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture tray capable of solving such problems that a conventional bag-shaped container, such as a culture bag, is easy to be deformed in case of culturing cells, etc., therein, because the conventional container has flexibility, therefore a complicated and large flow occurs in the conventional container by deformation or some vibrations, when the container is handled, clusters of the cells which are formed with much effort are broken, and further growth, proliferation, differentiation, and/or selection of the cells are inhibited or retarded, so that culture of the cells is hindered. SOLUTION: In this culture tray 1 which stores a bag-shaped container 2 and is used for the culture, the bag-shaped container 2 which is filled with the cells and a culture solution is held between a floor face 31 of a tray body 3 and a press plate 4 and pressed, so that the container is formed into such a container that is prevented from easy deformation, by generating tension on a container wall 22 which is intrinsically flexible.
