<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the insertion of a medical treatment device such as a balloon catheter into a constriction part in a blood vessel, and to enable a guiding catheter favorably follow the shape of a blood vessel when the guiding catheter is inserted in the blood vessel. <P>SOLUTION: This guiding catheter includes: a tip part 8: a body part 6: and a curved part 7 provided between the tip part 8 and the body part 6, wherein the curved part 7 is formed of thermoplastic resin, and the thermoplastic resin is polyamide.
