COMPOUND, MANUFACTURING METHOD, INK AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye (compound) having high fluorescence intensity which has good water solubility in water, very superior water resistance against paper (especially ordinary paper) and can cope with from printing to be visually recognizable by adjusting the dye concentration to printing to be readable with fluorescence emission by irradiation with certain specified ultraviolet rays, and an ink containing the same.

SOLUTION: The compound in the form of a free-acid is represented by formula (1) (wherein m and n are each independently 1 or 2).
