<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device for a vehicle never giving a sense of incongruity to a driver even when operation different from an operating content intended by the driver is carried out. <P>SOLUTION: This input device for the vehicle is constituted to nullify operation of a control switch 16 which is an operation switch concerning a preceding car following control system in the case when a steering angle S of a steering wheel 101 detected by a steering sensor 19 is within a specified angular region by detecting existence of steering of the steering wheel 101 by the steering sensor 19. Consequently, the driver never feels the sense of incongruity by preceding car following control of the content which the driver does not intend as there is no influence in motion of the preceding car following control system even when there is erroneous operation of the control switch 16 caused by a revolving phase of the steering wheel 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
