<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a chalcopyrite solar cell that is superior in flexibility and has ensured flexural rigidity by using a mica substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A first electrode layer 14 is formed by film on a mica substrate 54, and a first scribe 64 is provided. Then, an optical absorption layer 16 and a buffer layer 18 are formed on the first electrode layer 14, and a through-hole (second scribe part 66) penetrating the upper end surface of the buffer layer 18 to the lower end surface of the mica substrate 54 is made like a dot. Next, a second electrode layer 20 is provided on the buffer layer 18. In this case, the upper end surface of the second electrode layer 20 reaches the first electrode layer 14 along the inside wall of the second scribe part 66.
