PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyester film which is excellent in adhesion to a metal sheet, tearing properties, slipping properties in relation to a working die, and canning properties (for example, release properties between an inner surface resin and a working punch and fragility of an outer surface resin in drawing/ironing process). SOLUTION: In the method for producing the polyester film for laminating a metal sheet, the polyester film is formed from a polyester composition containing ethylene terephthalate and ethylene isophthalate as main components. The polyester contains a polyoxyalkylene glycol component having at least three repeats of a≥2C alkylene oxide unit as a≥2C alkylene oxide unit derived from the polyoxyalkylene glycol component in an amount of 2-20 mole% in relation to the total acid components of the polyester composition, 0.01-0.15 wt% of wax, and 0.01-1.0 wt% of an antioxidant. The melting point and density of the polyester film are 220-250°C and below 1.385 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
