摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always realize stable conductive connection of a member to be connected such as an IC chip or the like and a substrate such as a glass substrate or the like using an anisotropic conductive material. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is provided for manufacturing a liquid crystal display comprising an object M1 including a terminal 38a, an object M2 including a terminal 38b, and an anisotropic conductive material 8' for conductive connection of the terminals 38a and 38b. In this manufacturing method, the anisotropic conductive material 8 comprises a first base material 31; a second base material 32; a solder layer 33a provided between these first and second base materials 31, 32 and melting with heat; and a through-hole 35 provided through the first base material 31, second base material 32, and solder layer 33a. This manufacturing method comprises the steps of arranging the anisotropic conductive material 8' between the objects M1 and M2, and forming a conductive part 33b for conductive connection of the terminal 38a and terminal 38b by allowing the solder 33 to flow into the through-hole 35 by giving heat and pressure to the anisotropic conductive material 8'.
