PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water feeding pipes such as water jet pipes from breaking and prevents water feeding tubes from being uncoupled at connecting parts by preventing a water feeding pressure from increasing abnormally. SOLUTION: A water feeding device which has a water feeding pump part 31 for supplying a liquid in a tank 34 by a pump 32 and feeds water to the water jet pipe in an endoscope and to the water feeding pipe in which a treatment device insertion channel is penetrated through a coupling pipe 15c connected to an output port 47 of the pump 32, is equipped with an orifice 55 or a pressure relief valve to limit the maximum water feeding pressure in the pipes at the output port (a connecting pipe) 47 at the water feeding pump part 31. A return passage 58 to return the liquid flowing from the orifice 55 to the tank 34 is provided, and a check valve 57 to prevent the liquid from the endoscope side from returning to the tank 34 is provided on the coupling pipe 15c.
