PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher, more specifically, a crusher for mainly crushing vegetable substances such as branches, leaves and bark of timber from thinning or cut-down wood, leaves of a bamboo, bamboo grass, a ditch reed, etc. and abrading the crushed vegetable fibers to fibrillate them. SOLUTION: The crusher has a rotatable rotary shaft 2 having spiral blades 20 and 21, a plurality of the crushing chambers 1a, 1b and 1c provided to the rotary shaft 2 in its longitudinal direction, the passing ports 30 provided between the crushing chambers, the discharge plate 5 or partition plate 3 capable of being heated by the exhaust heat of the engine 7 of a power source and the discharge port 50 provided to the upstream part of the flow of crushing targets moved by the rotation of the spiral blades.
