PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate the speed of a thrown ball by a lamp on throwing one ball, and moreover to automatically return the thrown ball. SOLUTION: A mat 1 is provided in front of a shaft 3 passed through a coiled spring 4, a slide contact A is provided in the rear, a slide part 2 fitted with a ratchet claw B is provided, and an insulator 6 fitted with a contact C is provided in the rear thereof. A ball catcher H is disposed under the mat 1 so as to be surrounded by a net 29, and a cylinder K, having an inlet 18 provided with a sensor in the center thereof, is disposed with an outlet 17 directed toward a groove L of a pedestal I in the rear. An indication lamp is provided on a net guard 30, and a motor shaft F is provided with a driving arm 25, and a pitching arm 10 provided with a ball shovel 11 is inserted in it.
