<p>A pulse-measuring device (PMD) in a wristwatch checks the pulse of a wearer at gaps to be determined. The wearer leaves his house on foot (B) and carries an activated short-messaging device (C) with him. If there are irregularities/medical emergency, the PMD sends a message to a control unit and rings an emergency number via a mobile telephone network so as to be located with pinpoint accuracy.</p> |
