The device has a sliding bed (15) with a relocatable console (4) attached with a drive unit (5) to the bed. The drive unit has a chuck (6'), whose clamping unit holds an ammunition body (0). The body is centrically directed to a longitudinal axis via the extending sliding bed. A blade is arranged and is radially pushed to cut across the bed. Supporting rollers (8) are centered and rest upon a center axis with the blade (2) movable arranged over rollers (9), on which in addition, ammunition bodies are positioned for cutting and separating.
