The device has an adjustment area (2) for a catch for a gate (7, 8) which is lockable. A bolting device mechanism is provided for the catch, as well as electronic control equipment (12) for controlling of the bolting device mechanism. The control equipment has a card reader (13, 14) for reading an accession map in as well as a memory for storing a map-specific accession data. The presence of a goods container in the adjustment area is acquired (15). An adjustment signal and the control equipment control the storage of the map-specific accession data in dependence of the adjustment signal.
