A method of applying conductive leads onto a plastic, especially transparent plastic, components comprises applying a scratch-resistant lacquer film (3) onto the plastic, partly setting the film, placing at least one conductive lead (2) onto the film and then performing a step to completely harden the film (3') with the conductive lead. Preferably the product is then covered with a plasma layer (6) and hardening is by UV irradiation.
