The device has a heat exchanger (7) in an outlet line (8), a second heat exchanger (13) near the outlet line. The opening of the second heat exchanger has a valve (21a, 21b) which connects with the outlet line. The outlet side of the second heat exchanger has a second valve (22a, 22b) and a third valve (23a, 23b), about which the second valve connects to the opening and the third valve connects to the guide. The second heat exchanger is controlled (31) in a closed chamber with the first to third valves, in which the fuel is under increased pressure and warmed up and or evaporated.
