A hermetic compressor is provided to simplify the working procedure in assembling a rotor of a driving unit of the compressor, to thereby improve production efficiency, and to suppress an increase of temperature in the compressor caused by friction heat. A hermetic compressor comprises a stator; and a rotor interactively rotated about the stator. The rotor has a rotor core formed to a predetermined diameter; a cover plate(39) combined with the rotor core to prevent the rotor core from being separated up and down; a weight balance(35) installed at the cover plate to reduce vibration of the rotor; and a blade(37) installed on the cover plate together with the weight balance to generate air flow in the compressor. Plural blades are radially disposed and separated from each other at the opposite side of the weight balance.
