<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the reformative ability of a catalyst to generate hydrogen stable for a long period of time by avoiding the precipitation (coking) of carbon on the surface of the catalyst when an organic hydride is subjected to a reformation reaction. <P>SOLUTION: Hydrogen gas is supplied to the catalyst in a reformation tank 10 after the reformation reaction from a raw material supply unit 13 so that carbon on the catalyst 11 is converted into a hydride of carbon by the supplied hydrogen gas and the hydride of carbon is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
